Belief and disbelief in aliens is really based only on a desire to believe or to disbelieve. I do not consider this a good reason to believe in anything (I am not particularly religious either). Do you think that maybe the dream situation was a coincidence? If something wakes you abruptly at 6am, it is likely to wake those around you as well.
