Help with understanding illegal aliens and hospitals?
Does this paragraph make sense? If not, tell me what i need to fix thanks!

Illegal residents of the United States often do not have medical or dental insurance. This is because it is expensive and most of the time, it is not included in their job salary. Workers, who live in the US legally, get medical and dental insurance coverage from their jobs. Working in agriculture, construction, or any other job that illegal immigrants often take, does not always guarantee medical or dental coverage for the worker or their family. Staying healthy is important for the illegal aliens because if they get sick and must go to the hospital, they will have to pay a lot of money.

Well you leave out several factors, such as the existence of charity care, and the fact they don’t have to pay for emergency room visits

And also, not all workers who live in the US legally get dental and medical coverage.

But the main effect is they might go to get medical care, and just refuse to pay

  1. Hypnose Lancome says:

Most do not pay the hospital bill, that’s why hospital stays cost so much, and one reason insurance companies charge more for insurance.
To be fair, it is not only illegal aliens who use the emergency room and not pay.

  2. Maria Costa says:

There is a Medicaid program that covers illegal aliens’ medical bills provided that they meet other basic eligibility requirements such as age/disability or being the parent/grandparent of a child under the age of 18. Other factors such as income/assets/residency, etc. are also taken in consideration when determining their eligibility.
