It's taken us a hell of a long time to get this far but because your unlikely to find similar conditions to earth on another planet the life is going to form and evolve in another way than to earth. We know life can survice in extreme conditions, if life can make it here what's stopping it starting elsewhere ? I reckon the best you can hope for is bacteria or similar (or the beginnings of life, single cell life) I certainly don't think they among us now. I wish they would find life on another planet as it might stop all the pain,war,famine etc and it even might unite the planet. I really hope that one day this happens. We all live on this planet together so why all the issues with each other, it's a real shame. Please don't worry about monsters in the closet.
