Sure…after they pay their debt to society, (some prison), become fluent in English, pass a detailed background and reference check, have six months expenses saved up, pay a fine, pay the fees, submit to a thorough medical screening, have at least a 12th grade education with passing grades (verified), swear allegiance to USA, even against their home country, then, yes, I think if all these conditions are met, they could stay. They must also register with welfare and agree to a lifetime ban on any welfare program.

If they came here illegally they are criminals. We have enough home grown criminals now. The biggest percentage of anchor babies turn into criminals just like their parents.

No they are illegal!!! There are ways to come into American legally, if you are illegal you are breaking the law. Now dont give me that crap about being a humanitarian. The Mexican government kills Guatamala (spelled that wrong) citizens when they cross the southern Mexican border, and we give them a FEMA trailer and a welfare check.

I have alot of respect for people who immigrate to American legally, because they worked their butt off to get here and do things the legal way. Actually, some of the most patriotic Americans I know immigrated here from various countries.

This problem is being addressed by our current administration with it’s 313 million dollar committment to the upgrading of border crossings. Oh! Wait a minute, here! That’s 313 million dollars for the uprgrading of the northern border crossings, not the southern border, where the illegals are actually coming from! Another Obama and Democratic party screw-up! i.e. 1.3 million to upgrade the White-Tail crossing, where the tremendous amount of traffic flows daily, oh another mess up, because this crossing only sees 1 to 2 cars per day and 1 to 2 trucks per month. Go figure!

NO, illegal aliens are criminals if they come here, many commit 9 more crimes within the first thirty days of being here. It is a crime to work if illegal, none commit just the crime of coming here. Illegals have no respect for laws and should not be rewarded for any illegal behavior. Severe punishment and deportation.
