What anime space movie had a battle in it where the invading aliens used tentacle weapons to kill the humans?
I watched this anime space movie in 1993. I had a battle in it where the invading aliens used tentacle weapons to kill the human pilots in the fighters and the crew of the earth battleship. At the end of the movie they set off “eve” which destroyed the entire alien invading force. Does anyone know the title of this movie?

the first anime that came to my mind was macross. Im not exactly sure if there was any use of tentacle weapons though. Are you sure its not some sort of hentai (hentai’s are perverse japanese anime that often rape women, in this case a tentacle hentai anime)?
