Are there any conspiracy theories of tall tales connected to “The Apotheosis of Washington”?
I’ve been getting more and more into folklore, tall tales, fables, conspiracy theories (which I take with a huge grain of salt) and the like, and the Apotheosis of Washington has always been one of my favorite works of art. Although it is a strange question, is there any folklore, tall tales, fables or conspiracy theories that are connected to The Apotheosis of Washington that might seem interesting?

I’ve read The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. It may not count though. I’m not an American but the book described that there is a painting about the Apotheosis of Washington in the US Capitol. Strange. I never thought Washington was a Deist (the novel said so). But the details in the novel are most likely fiction.
