There’s no such things as “chemtrails“. These are contrails, condensation trails formed after aircraft, and have been seen since World War II (when planes got really powerful and high-flying).
There’s no “impending solar flare”. Although the Sun’s activity can be roughly anticipated (e.g. “the next solar maximum will be in May 2013″), individual solar events and their magnitude can not be predicted.
Even if it was true, no spraying of chemical would provide “a veil of protection” against any solar event sufficiently powerful to affect Earth in a negative way. Look up “magnetosphere”:

There is no “impending solar flare.” Solar flares are a normal activity on the Sun and happen all the time. They usually have no effect on Earth because they are limited to the surface of the Sun. Sometimes they are related to coronal mass ejections, material ejected from the Sun’s corona which can reach Earth. In most cases, these are deflected by the Earth’s magnetic field, sometimes causing aurora borealis (northern lights). Contrails are moisture ejected by jet aircraft which provide condensation centres in the sky for clouds, but have no effect on coronal mass ejections.
Chemtrails don’t exist. Paranoid people just look at normal contrails from aircraft and say these are chemtrails.
