Con you possibly imagine how many thousands of aircraft and thousands of hours of flight time and millions of gallons of <chem> it would take for evil forces in the world to poison that atmosphere? There aren't enough aircraft or chemical vats in the entire world to do this even if they were all operating together with the Legion of Doom. What is the "lingering trail" going to do? What do the evil forces get out of poisoning the atmosphere, anyway? If they want control over people, is it going to help to kill all of us off, and have no one left to rule?
