I was encouraged to think for myself and grow as a person by all but one or two who expected students to accept the instructors point of view. As a parent I taught my children to think for themselves and to learn from where ever information could be obtained, filter the information and make up their own minds. It is a shame that people don't trust their children to be bright enough to recognize B.S. when they hear or read it.
