Planet X has a mass 3.29 times that of the Earth and a radius?
Planet X has a mass 3.29 times that of the
Earth and a radius 2.78 times the radius of
the Earth.
What is the acceleration due to gravity on
the surface of Planet X, measured in units of g
(the gravitational acceleration on the surface
of the Earth)?
Answer in units of g.

F= Gm/r^2
G is the newtons constant 6.673 x 10^-11
m is the mass if the planet
r is the radius if the planet
First we have to find the mass and radius of the planet
m= 5.9742 × 10^24 x 3.29
m= 1.9655118 × 10^25 kilograms
R= 6,378.1 x 2.78
R= 17,731.118 kilometers or 17,731,118 meters
Now plug in the numbers:
F= 6.673 x 10^-11 x 1.9655118 × 10^25/ (17,731,118)^2
F= 4.17 m/s²
