conspiracy!?
I was wondering who actually votes for responses on questions. Because I don’t. And im thinking i am pretty much in the majority.
anyways, i think that a lot of top contributors and possibly many people trying to become top contributors vote for themselves in order to get more “best answers”. I noticed this on my questions that were resolved. On a couple questions everyone was thumbed down twice while the “best answer” person was thumbed up.

I think lots of people honestly think their answer is best. If I ran across one in voting, I’d vote for my own.
If more askers would take the time to pick a “best answer” and not let it get into voting, then those people who cheat would not be able to do it!!
That’s why I never ask a question without choosing a best answer. I never let my questions go into voting. The only time some of my questions went into voting was when they suspended my 1st account in October. I had open questions but, since they suspended my account, I could not log back in and choose a “best answer.”
So choose a best answer and strike a blow for honesty! Stop the cheats!!
