Does anyone know what Nephilim are, or have any ideas?
If you have no idea what I am talking about, read Genesis. i would like to hear your guesses, though

Nephilim are a hybrid of human and angel but of a destructive force.
Arent they supposed to be Arch Angels? Like better than the normal angels…I think.
Nephilim are legendary ( IMHO) giants, mentioned in the book of Genesis. The word is still used in Hebrew language today as a synonym for giants
The Hebrew word nephel is probably the root word from which Nephilim is derived- nephel means: “untimely birth, abortion, miscarriage”. Nephilim would therefore be “Unnaturally begotten men” or bastards from “abortion” or “miscarriage”

I’ve heard that they are different types of Angels.

According to biblical references, there was a dispensation when the seed of any being could be mixed and bring forth offspring. The bible refers to “satyrs”, which were half human, half goat, and they are mentioned in the bible, if I recall, twice.
Again, according to the bible, they were all considered an abomination. Yet, the nephillim were considered “great men”
being giants, etc. Personally, I see this as a contradiction.
If they were men of great reknowned, why were they also
considered an abomination? (strictly a rhetorical question).
The Nephilim are the result of the interations between the sons of God met with the daughters of man. The Torah describes the Nephilim as those causing others to fall.

Personally, I’d go with Myths.
The offspring of angels who forsook their own proper dwelling place and had relations with earthly women.
Nepilim were fallen angels that had sex with women and the women gave birth to children that were huge (such as Goliath)and appetites that could not be satisfied. Someone told me they were destroyed because they were eating human men because their appetites could not be satisfied.
Nephillim were beings ffrom another place, that ancient man thought were GODs, and when they had sex with human women, the human women gave birth to creatures that were half human, and half extraterrestrial. These beings were similar to mankind, but larger, more powerful. They created large stone works, that have been unmatched to this day. They also had problems of their own, fought amongst themselves, and humans, and were finally destroyued by the very beings that came to this planet, and slept with the women. The disaster was world wide, and caused mankind to return to starting over again rebuilding. The ruins can still be found scattered across the world, and misinterpreted as being made by humans.
I beleive that they were members of the angels that fell from Heaven with Satan when he was cast out of God’s Presence, and they (angels) roamed the earth, found women, and fathered children, but because their nature was so corruped, these offspring became evil and corrupt. I fully beleive that there was a race of Nephillim/human hybrids, and that Goliath was descended from them. I beleive that one of the books of the Pentateuch refers to Caleb leading the armies of Israel against them. Also, legend has it that the Nephillim had twelve toes and twelve fingers, and that gave rise to the Middle Ages beleif that people with a defect of six fingers on one hand or something like that were evil.

After Adam and Eve sinned and were thrown out of the Garden of Eden, but before the flood, there were angels that followed Satan in his disobedient, wicked course. These ones made for themselves materialized human bodies on the earth, married human women and had relations with them. What was produced were these hybrid babies, who grew up to be giants and bullies, the Nephilim. In Hebrew it means, ‘fellers,’ or those who violently felled others or caused weaker humans to fall. They were destroyed in the flood of Noah’s day.
I have researched this information some time ago, hope you find it helpful…Nephilim-is from the Hebrew language, it means “Those who cause others to fall down”. In the Bible it is talking about the angels who left heaven, materialized and came down to earth to have sex w/ women. Their hybrid offspring, conceived w/ these human women, grew to be giants, not like a Jack & the Beanstalk type of giant, but considerably larger than the average human being. These too, were referred to as Nephilim, and they were simply wicked men. They were destroyed at the time of God’s great flood. Greek Mythology has distorted the account of Genesis and refer to Nephilim as demigods and superhuman heroes. God did not approve of his angels materializing and being w/ women. After the flood they tried to return to heaven and they were subsequently thrown out from the area where God resides and now roam the earth as part of Satan’s demonic group.
