Question: Is the right in America seeing government conspiracies everywhere?
It seems that the right is extremely vigilant today against conspiracies of the government to take away from the people theses days. They seem to see them everywhere, even where they don’t yet exist, but could possibly in the future. Perhaps that’s a good thing, to remain vigilant.
Why weren’t they this way the previous 8 years?
How come they didn’t see the signs that the economy was diving into recession when the President ignored warnings that wall street was taking too much risk? Why weren’t they more cautious about the invasion of Iraq when we still had unfinished business in Afghanistan? Why wasn’t their “conspiracy radar” operating then? Where was the tea party when Republicans were spending just as much as Democrats?

Nope, I see truth and reality. I leave conspiracies to the nuts, like Obama and his followers.

It might have something to do with Fox News switching from cheerleaders to conspiracy theorists back in January. Any time something bad happens, it is presented as a scary consequence of electing democrats.
Why weren’t they this way the previous 8 years?
-they were but since you were in Jr. High you didn’t notice, i imagine girls were more of an object for you.
and to answer your first question, yes because in EVERY conspiracy lies a little truth. The trick is to sift through the bulk to get to the treasure.
The President, Bush or Obama, has no power over the economy. If you read the constitution, it gives fiscal power and responsibility to Congress. Which included the Fed, congress created. Whether you want to go back to previous administrations congress, the Democrat controlled congress since 2006, or the Republican congress prior to that,. fine. But let’s put the responsibility on the shoulder of those who have the power to control it.
Speaking of responsibility, I can only speak for myself, but I did put all my investments in Treasury securities, low interest, low risk funds before the crash. Didn’t lose a dime. Most people lost money because they passed their responsibility on to people they do not know, entrusting them to invest it for them.
If you lost money in your retirement accounts, mutual funds, try placing a little responsibility on yourself, or those people you paid to invest it for you.
I think the government does a lot of things we don’t know about. Some to protect of benefit us or them, some not to. To be honest, I don’t entirely trust any governments, but I think we should trust that what the government is done with good intentions, unless we have found contradictory evidence. Look into it if your still curious.
