Was there a British abolitionist conspiracy designed to block the United States’ annexation of Texas?
If yes, please clearly explain why there was a conspiracy and prove it.

Texas abolitionists opposed annexation as the saw it would make it harder for them to abolish slavery in Texas. They may have had moral support from abolitionists in the United States and other countries as well, but for the most part the British were indifferent to the status of Texas, There is no evidence to suggest there was any sort of “conspiracy”..
