Who were the “giants” (the Nephilim) of Genesis?
And what is the origin of the interpretation that they were the result of genetic engineering on the part of Satan to change the genome of the human race? (I heard this discussed on a late night radio program recently.)
Also, I’ve heard that Native Americans had legends very similar to the Nephilim of Genesis and that the earliest of the Mound Builders of the Ohio Valley were said to be of gigantic proportions. Do native American religions speak of this?

They may have been the offspring of fallen angels and women. I think Goliath was the last of them.
They were the progeny of the sons of god (celestial beings) and the daughters of man (humans).
They were men of old, men of renown. I think this is the Jewish version of explaining epic heros of mythology.
Some say giant so maybe they are like the titans of greece.

bible tells that the gods took the women of men and had children from them . you already know the common view of it . so here is a alternate one . there was 5 gods in the making of men ( and god said let US make MEN in OUR image) and it tells that this Adam strand was the lord of all . until he lost that power and was put out with the other men of the gods . then this Adam through mass incest began to geneticly brake down . and sought a new line . and it was from them that the giants were born . and with there size the other people saw them as GODS . then as time moved on through this pure DNA that the Romans used to claim its godly rule over man . Revelations tells of the 4 letters to the churches and how the Roman church gos is displeased .
