2012 Prophecy-End of Days!?

2012 Prophecy-End of Days!?
Why do people only focus on the Mayans when it comes to the date of December 21, 2012 as the end of the world, when there are other people from across the globe that came with that same date? Did we forget them or something? I remember hearing on TV that natives in America ( I think they were the Hopi Indians. I could be wrong though.) and people from Asia came with that date.

Answer by Jammy Dieselbug
That date marks a rare alignment of the planets in the solar system to the sun and the center of the galaxy. Any civilization who became efficient in predicting astronomical phenomena and movements would be able to predict what would happen on December 21, 2012. Many people claim that this even will cause the planet to be ripped apart, the poles to reverse, or for the second coming of Jesus or some other crap. And if you listen to what the Mayans wrote about this date they referred to it as an “end of life as we know it” which could simply mean that a significant change could occur, not total destruction. The only sure way to know what will happen is to experience it, so just wait and see.

The entire issue is ridiculous…. and when Dec 22, 2012 comes and goes, HOPEFULLY people will finally BURY the issue, too.

I made that last part up myself. – Thumper

Nobody came up with that date other than a bunch of new-age wackos and assorted hucksters trying to sell books. They like to pretend that there’s some substance to it by lying about the date having independently been arrived at by other civilisations, but it’s all baloney.

Any assertion that any other people than the Mayans had anything at all to do with 21 December 2012 is a lie. Any assertion that the ancient Mayans predicted the end of the world on 21 December 2012 is a lie. They left that to modern lunatics, liars and confidence men.

All prophets are frauds or lunatics. No exceptions.

    EDIT

There is no planet X. If it was coming we would have seen it years ago,

There is no Nibiru. If it was coming we would have seen it years ago,

There is no line up of planets.

There is no line up with “something” in the rest of the galaxy that does not happen twice every year.

    There is no photon belt.

The solar peak in 2013 (yes, 2013, not 2012) is expected to be less active than usual

There is no end to the Mayan day count. The 13th baktun fills up, that’s all.

The Mayans did not prophesy an end of the world.

Neither did anyone else except frauds and crazies.

    Get my drift?
