Do you believe in the 2012 Nostradamus prophecy or the 2060 Newton prophecy?
i’m trying to make a survey about how many people believe in the 2012 and 2060 doomsday prophecy.

I will be surprised if someone educated here will try to tell you which nonsense prophecy s/he believes in unless s/he is a total jerk or the stupidest idiot in this planet. This is Astronomy and Space section after all and we are in the last day of 2009. Anyway if this is a survey, should it be in Polls and Surveys? There’s no harm in trying, though. Let’s see how many fools will come out of their bunkers.

None of these prophesies ever come true unless they are so vague that they can be interpreted to be almost anything.
These Prophecies as with others past will probably come and pass with the only sector of the human race to really feel any effect from them being the novelists and movie producers who shall make millions from interpreting them into some dramatic thought provoking story’s.
If they were to really happen, then why should we really worry. We would not be here the day after to need to worry if many of these stories were to be believed, nor shall we know that it has happened unless you wish to open another can of worms on life after death.
In answer, no i don’t believe these, if i did i would give up work now as what would be the point.

I dont believe in prophecies at all. Nostradamus was just some guy on drugs that didn’t know how to make money.
Newton was the coolest scientist, but I dont believe his prophecy of doomsday.
