I think anyone who believes in this nonsense needs a reality check. Every turn of a millenium there are doomsayers who report that the world will end, etc, and then nothing happens. 2012 just happens to be a random year. If anyone really believes in this and is willing to act on it, go out and buy a very expensive car on credit just before the supposed end of the world.
