If faith can move mountains, can your Christian faith help to end world hunger?
What about global environmental destruction?
Because personally, that’s the kind of “mountains” that I believe Jesus probably was thinking about in the Gospel verses attributed to his name.
Capriciously rearranging the topography of the earth seems like a pointless use of faith. But if your faith is powerful enough, can it help God or even help human society to accomplish more practical goals?

we could. however it’d have to be in gods plan. if we solved world hunger, then how would that help god. we dont know what god has plan, oving a montain, solving world hunger may not be his plan. even if we did , then many wouldn’t be saved anyway, with chirstain world hunger evaglist we can atleast save some

They can’t even stop fight amongst each other!
I don’t get it, why do people say to read the bible and interpret it symbolically but then take it literally themselves.
What do you think the promise of God’s rule, God’s kingdom, the kingdom of heaven is – but a promise for a theocracy that shall do away will all ills but, at a cost. All the wicked must die. People that cannot understand that willful sin and wanton acts of evil, greed, may not occur will have to be put to sleep forever.
Have you never read the promise of Isaiah? How the world will be at peace and overflowing with food products?
Faith must be put into action. Sitting around and saying, “I have faith” is like sitting around saying, “I’m a millionaire.” You’re just using up air when you do.
Can Christians acting their faith out do these things? Yes. But only when that faith is put to action.
Faith, it does not need be just Christian, can indeed “move mountains” but this is a symbolic message and nothing more and Faith can do that which you ask. For without faith, what else would there be?
The same physical energies that go into destructive means can also be used for healing means. However remember this, the world is lost in our illusions of human wanting. Until this begins to be addressed on a massive individual scale, we will remain afflicted with these very same world problems.
