Is the 2012 prophecy true or false?
I want to know other peoples opinions on the 2012 end of the world phenomenon. Will it happen or not? What’s fact and what’s fiction?

False. The antichrist has yet to come. And his stay will be 7 years
It’s false. God made it clear in the bible that only he knows when the end is near. He warns of false teachers and false prophets who tell us that the world will end at such and such a date, season, year, etc. They are lies and we are not to fall for them.

pray to god that nothing bad like that happens. All religions say that we are in a time of kalyug (dark ages) and that unless we sort ourselves out, the world will end. That might mean the end of people not the earth
False dear, but if you still are unsure, wait and see.
Well, as a Catholic, I believe it’s false, because God told us we would know ‘neither the day nor the hour’ of the Lord’s coming, aka the end of the world. I’m aware that might not be evidence for you, but I believe that the calendar ends there because the Mayans ran out of room, and nothing more.
It’s false, I watched a religous video about it where a man proved it was wrong with the Bible.
It’s not true. why would you believe in an old calendar ? What most people do when the year is over ? They get a new calendar . When 2012 comes just get a new calendar . Last time they said the world was going to end was 1999/2000 and ten years later the world is still here .

As false as the Y2K prophecy and the several hundred ones I’ve had shoved down my throat since I was a teenager.
I want to see people making such claims be charged with “causing fear in public” after the prophecy fails.

The fact that there will come a time when the world will end is true. And although some of the signs given have occurred.not all have. And the time frame between now and 2012 is to short for them all to happen.
