I predict that about as much will happen in 2012 as happened with the xtian calendar turning to 2000 AD about ten years ago; a whole lot of nothing. Judaism does talk about cycles. They don't coincide with Christianity as Cher mentions, but the Earth has ages that are spoken of by our sages and appear in the Days of Creation in Genesis.
