What do you believe regarding the 2012 armageddon prophecy?
I’m doing an anthropology assignment in which I have to survey ppl. I’m hoping this will be me some ideas on what to ask when I do my official survey. What do you believe and why? Also, if you would, i’d also like to know your age, sex, and religious background.
Any suggestions on what questions to ask or how to conduct my survey would be great if you are willing to offer it. Thanks!

I believe I should have figured out way to capitalize on it… I’d be rich by now if I had.
I think it’s a pretty obvious hoax, but that people without fully developed critical thinking skills might fall for it because it’s scary. 31/male/atheist.
You could ask questions to see if they could tell the difference between open-mindedness and gullibility. Also the difference between skepticism and close-mindedness.
You could see what other common urban legends / conspiracy theories they believe. Like vaccines, 9/11, genetically modified crops.
And then some general knowledge, like if they could find countries X, Y, and Z on a map, or basic knowledge about them.
I’m a 27-year-old female and I’m not religious. I believe that the year 2012 will probably be just like any other year because we have no good reason to believe otherwise.
Old mother nature is going to open a can of whip a.. on the world. And its going to be a great show. How long can you continue to abuse the planet and its people before they turn and bite you back.

✞ I do not believe that the Battle of Armageddon will take place in 2012….I do however believe that we are indeed in what the scriptures call ” The Beginning of Sorrows” spoken by Jesus in Matthew Chapter 24…

Israel is the fig tree, and she was reinstated as a country in May 1948….
In Hos 9:10 Israel is likened to a fig tree. As one of the signs of the end of the age and the time of his second presence, Jesus gave a parable concerning the fig tree. We quote, “When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that it [the messianic kingdom] is near, even at the doors.”- Mt 24:32, 33
