Give your answer to this question below!

I believe I read somewhere that 2012 is going to just be a time of change growth and renewl, and end of an age, not the world all together. You cant take that literally.
The Mayan’s built a calendar that ends in 2012. Many of the dates for traumatic events on the earth were marked, and they have come to pass. Since the calendar ends in 4 years, there are people who think this will be the end of the world.
So, here is where faith comes in — Jesus Christ said, “No man will know the day of my coming.”
Scientists predict the year 2012 will have an abundance of coronal mass ejections (CME’s) commonly called solar flares. The earth’s magnetosphere protects us like a giant shield as the heated winds blow out from the sun. I like to think the someone millions of light years away may see the tail and think it is a comet.
Why did the calendar ends December 21, 2012? Perhaps they ran out of room on the tablets they were using. Maybe the main calendar makers got to old and were not replaced. Perhaps war ended the work.
Physicists do not expect the CMEs to be much worse than they were a few years ago — and there were some very heavy X-class CMEs that just spread about the Magnetosphere and came back together on the other side leaving the earth with a tail.
The source below will provide you with a lot of comforting and interesting information.
best of luck
listen closely…. nothing new will happen on that day…. all this ‘stuff’ you’re hearing and reading about 2012 is someone’s over-excited imagination trying to sell books and tv shows and get website hits…..
the Mayans did up their calendars in ‘counts’ much as we do ours in ‘years’….. the end of their ‘long count’ comes in 2012, just like the end of our ‘millenium’ came in 2001…. that’s it… no biggie, just the end of the calendar!!!….. another count would start for them just as another year started for us….. all the hype about ‘the end of the world’, planets aligning with the galactic center, magnetic flips, etc is hogwash dreamed up to get people all fired up like they were about the year 2000 and our computers…. the difference is, 2000 was a REAL problem and we got on it and pretty much fixed it ahead of time……. 2012 only needs for folks to wake up and realize they’re being bamboozled……
so, you really do have to study and graduate, or pay the mortgage or grow up and get a job…. the world will still be here!!!…. *smile*…………….
The Mayan Calendar ends in December 2012. When that time comes, the following day will be like any other, and so on. All that will happen will be that the calendar starts over again from the beginning, starting another 5,000+ year long cycle.
The Gregorian calendar ends on December 31 each year. When that time comes, the following day is like any other, and so on (although many people have hangovers that first day). All that happens is that the calendar starts over again from the beginning (January 1), to start another 365 or 366 day long cycle.
The civil day ends at midnight each evening. When that time comes, the next minute happens like any other, and so on. All that happens is that a new day begins again, to start another 24 hour long cycle.
Et cetera… Do you see?
As for prophecies, more prophecies don’t come true than do come true, no matter what the source. Don’t hold your breath on this one. Besides, the human mind likes to link things together, even if they aren’t related. It’s easy to look back and say “Yeah, these cryptic and vague words described this exact and complicated event!” even when they probably did not.
No, ti doesn’t mean that at all.
All it means is that the latest cycle of the Mayan long calendar ends…not the world.
If the Mayans were still around, they would start their calendar over.
But they are not, so they can’t.
