What happens to the Mayan calendar when the world reaches the end of Dec 2010?
Would they start a new calendar or what?

its 2012, but yeah, the calendar resets back to zero and they begin all over again

They didnt just have one big calender they had several. For example, the fuss about 2012 is nonsense because the mayan’s had just finished that peice of scroll and then they moved onto another.
A new calendar would be started if the old calendar ended in 2012, but it doesn’t. The question is still valid since a new calendar will be needed when the current one does end.
Same thing that happens when the modern calendar hits December 31, it starts over again.
