2012 disaster prophecies = money grubbing fraud and fluff brained cultist nonsense.

Science of 21 December 2012 = Winter solstice northern hemisphere, summer solstice southern hemisphere. That’s it. No planet x or Nibiru, no alignments, no asteroids, no pole shifts, no solar flares.

The Mayan Calendar makes NO doomsday CLAIMS because 2012 is merely the end of a cycle. We are currently approaching the end of the 4th Mayan cycle. That means that Doomsday has happened THREE times before. For the ancient Maya it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle. To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday or moment of cosmic shifting is a complete fabrication- and a chance for a lot of people to cash in.

People who promote 2012 are doing so to sell books and advertising on their doomsday shows. After each “predicted” doomsday passes with nothing happening there is a new one invented. I have watched the 2012 Doomsday program on the History (Hysteria) Channel. The content isn’t about any real 2012 event happening and it isn’t about history. It is about selling books and selling advertising on the TV programs.

There is no scientific theory that anything unusual is going to happen in 2012. ZERO scientists believe that anything out of the ordinary will happen in 2012. It is all total CRAP. These people are interested in one thing – MONEY. And by listening to their programs and/or buying their books you provide them with – MONEY. The more MONEY they make the more twists and turns they invent to make it more interesting so you will listen to new TV programs so they can make even MORE MONEY.

If you had hogwash to sell wouldn’t you try and package it so looked like prime rib? That is just what these shysters are doing… selling to those who will listen – HOGWASH. Drink deep!!! They need MORE MONEY. They need YOUR MONEY.

The funny thing is, there is no prophecy and no science either! One of the Maya calendars runs out, that’s all. The Maya didn’t have a prophecy for that day, it’s just when the calendar runs out of years. The “prophecy” was invented by popular media.

Crackpots say there will be doomsday in 2012.
Scientists say nothing will happen.
Who do you want to believe?
The whole thing is an invention by a bunch of frauds and crackpots trying to get you to buy worthless books and videos. None of it has any basis in real science. The people promoting this have no knowledge of science. They just like to pretend to be knowledgeable in order to impress the gullible. Don’t be one of the gullible.
There is no ‘ancient prediction’ by the Mayans or anyone else. These were all invented in the last 20 years.
There is no ‘mystery planet’ about to pass by. Why don’t the fraudsters tell us its current coordinates? You decide.
There will be no alignment, either planetary or galactic. When was the last alignment that caused us any problems anyway?
There will be no pole shift. A magnetic pole shift is not imminent and probably tens of thousands of years away. A sudden rotational pole shift is a physical impossibility.
The next solar maximum is expected in mid 2013, not 2012 and is expected to be less intense than the last maximum in 2001.
Other predictions such as the photon belt and Terence McKenna’s Timewave Zero are just too silly to bother with.

Well, there IS NO science behind the claims for disaster on Dec. 21, 2012, if that’s what you’re asking. Every single one of the claims for it fails to stand up to scrutiny. For instance, the Maya didn’t predict disaster when their calendar cycled on that day–if anything, they expected an age of enlightenment to begin. Another example: pole shifts don’t happen predictably on a specific day; they happen gradually over a period of hundreds of years. Yet another example: Planet X and Nibiru are completely, entirely, 100% made up. They don’t exist. Even if NASA is trying to hide something, a LOT of other countries are watching the skies–and even if they’re hiding something, there are thousands of amateur astronomers out there who watch the skies at night, and they don’t see anything coming our way.

Scientists completely reject the notion of a 2012 apocalypse. It’s just a bunch of crap. People have been having “prophecies” about the end of the world for hundreds of years and nothing has happened. Why would this be any different?
