What policies or procedures are in place in the event of an “end-world” scenario?
I have been researching government policies on major disasters. While governments seem to be prepared (on paper) in the event of minor local disasters, I can find no mentions of what the government will do, or what it’s citizens should do in the event of a continental-scale disaster.
A few examples:
The Yellowstone caldera opens
Large-scale nuclear attack
Large meteor/asteroid impact
Zombocalypse

I believe the Mormons in Utah have a large collection of genealogical information stored in secure location.
The US government has various contingency plans in the event of a large-scale nuclear attack.
