What will happen 2012? Will the world end?
I’ve been worried that the world will end 2012..
I have heard that the Mayan Time will stop, Earth will go off it’s orbit, our Solar System will drop, some guy making a machine that could destroy mankind, and even, the one I disbelieve the most, the Sun going out. I mean.. The Sun is still a young star, because it’s in the outer part of the galaxy, right?
Anyway, is 2012 going to be like any other year? Will the world as we know it end? ‘Cause I’m seriously scared..
I mean.. the Mayan’s just picked a random time way in the future, as i’ve been told. And no calender can go on forever. So it’s just like any old calender ending, right?
Thanks for reading, hope you share your opinion. ;3

The world will not end in 2012. Anyone who says otherwise is trying to sell you something.
What do you think? Answer below!

Ok, look. What you need to do is type in that question in yonder “search for question” and read the billion questions that are all variations of this exact question and read the billions of answers that are given. Just to give it away, the overall consensus is: NO.
If your not convinced, follow all of the links they give and you will get all of the information you want.
OH! the Mayans again! Did you know they believed the Earth was flat and had 4 corners, and the sky was held up by 5 large trees; and that the Earth rested on the back of a gigantic crocodile!
GOOD GRIEF!
2012 will be just like 2009. It’s a complete hoax!

Yep, you’re right to think all of those ideas sound far-fetched, if not outright ludicrous. The latter is more accurate. And you’re onto something about the Mayan calendar, but there’s even less to it than that–their calendar doesn’t end in 2012, it cycles (a bit likes our did at the end of 1999). The Mayans had dates later than 2012.
One thing you got wrong though. The age of the Sun isn’t dependent on where it is in the galaxy. Stars of all types and ages can exist at nearly any part of the galaxy. The Sun is actually about halfway through its primary life cycle–it won’t run out of hydrogen for another 5 billion years or so. (When it does, it will become a red giant–the Sun’s too big to supernova, if you wondered.)
If it does will you feel better worring yourself to death? {you might miss it } Relax and live your life.
