  1. Dalton says:

Well firstly my theory is you;re stupid.

The Mayan Calendar doesn’t predict anything, my calendar ends on December 31st, so we’re going to die then huh? No I don’t believe Nibiru will hit us, I believe nothing will happen at all.

  2. Ethan's Mommy says:

The Mayans did not have leap year. That buys us a little more time XD

I just think the dude who made the calender died and no one else wanted to finish it since it was already so far head of their time.

  3. a says:

never herd of nibiru and i dont think if the myans were so good at telling the future than they all wouldent have died when they did
also the calendar waz probobly never finished and thats why it ends for no good reason

  4. Brian says:

My theory is that the number of 2012 questions is inversely proportional to my sanity.

If trends continue as predicted, it is likely that my mental state will be somewhere between a dribbling lunatic in a straight jacket and famed Scientologist John Travolta by the time December 21, 2012 rolls around. John Travolta being the worst-case scenario, of course.

  5. skeletronz says:

I bet it’ll be something super disappointing… like the end of Stephen King’s Dark Tower series.

  6. Joe says:

No theory at all. The planets have lined up many times in the past and nothing happened on any of those occasions either. Don’t fall for the hype, but definitely see the movie!

  7. richie warhol says:

(Sorry because my english is bad)

Its just the end of the mayan calendar, but is not the end of the world.

    Explanation:

Mayan discovered that there is a Galactic day, and it is divided in 5 parts:

    1. Morning
    2. Middle day
    3. Afternon
    4. Evening
    5. Night (We are here right now)

(5125 years each part, so the complete galactic day takes 25625 years long.)

The Moon turns around the Earth, the Earth turns around the Sun, and the Solar System turns around a Big Light in the Galaxy.

Untill now we have been in the last part of the galactic day (NIGHT), have been like this since 5000 years ago, in 2012 we’ll be entering to the First part of the day (MORNING) just like 25625 years ago. We are getting close to the Big Light, to start the new galactic day thats why we call this new age “The Light Age” The weather will be change critical, but slowly, so we wont be there to see the poles melting, by the way we have to contribute and care about nature and pollution, cause this will reduce the changes.

By the way, our heart beats each 60-100 times per minute, draning blood to all our body. This way, the Big Light beats 5 times per galactic day (each 5125 years) and expulses a big wave to all our Solar Sistem, aligning the planets and the energy, (This causes caos in the act of human race, animals and nature, so we’ll see many weather desasters and stranges acts in animals, humans and nature.)

The end of world will happen millions of millions of millions of years in the fucture when our Milky Way colapses with Adromeda.

  8. joseph says:

The Mayans were an ancient civilization with less than a thousandth of a percent of scientific knowledge we have to day. So trusting any *prediction from them over modern science is absolutely illogical.

    * – the 2012 is simply the year when the the Mayan Calendar ends. Remember, the Mayan civilization abruptly ended for unknown reasons in 900 A.D, so it could have been that they just didn’t get a chance to finish it.

  9. bikenbeer2000 says:

Nibiru exists only in the confused minds of crackpots who are unable to provide any proof of its existence. As such, it isn’t going to hit us.
There is no planetary alignment. Take a look here: http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Solar?date=1&utc=2012%2F12%2F21+11%3A12%3A00&jd=2476948.34564&img=-k0&sys=-Sf&eyes=0&imgsize=320&orb=-b0&lat=47%B0&ns=North&lon=7%B0&ew=East&hlat=90%B0&hns=North&hlon=0%B0&elements=
Planets all over the place. There’s no galactic alignment either. The Sun follows the same path around the sky every year so aligns with the same distant objects every year.
The Mayan Long Count calendar doesn’t end, it merely clicks over from 12.19.19.17.19 to 13.0.0.0.0 on 21st December 2012. It’s the same as our calendar changing from 1999 to 2000.
Nothing at all is going to happen.
