Who believes in the 2012 prophecy?
Some people think that the Mayans predicted our demise at that date but the true is that there calendar ends there and nothing more. However on that exact date the Mayans predicted that the planets would align with the sun and that has been found to be true by scientist.

The Mayans DID NOT predict our demise in 2012. That’s something others have predicted and people have attached it to the Mayans.
I believe something will happen, something big possibly the beginning of the end of civilization, I dont think the world is just going to evaporate on the day, but I guess we’ll find its only 3 years away.

if they were able to predict the alignments, then im positive they would have made a note, or wrote about what would happen in 2012.
however i am scared something will happen, only because i watch the specials on the discovery channel and it always freaks me out. i hope that its just another day, and the mayans probably ran out of room on their calendars?
I have 4 ideas. first, my main idea, I think everyone’s going to feak out on that day, and kill people, and rob, and it will be anarchy, the ironic part will be nothing actually happened. second one of the main powers will use this date and start a third world war. third, the vanishings and nti christ and all that stuff. and finally alien invasion. I did this list from most to least likely.
I do think it will happen but I don’t have to worry about that because my name is Miranda and with out telling the fortune teller that she said all the Miranda’s will be murdered February 12th 2011.
i believe that the 2012 prophecy is bullshit. It is associating people with God, like the cardinals appointing simple men to become popes, or the median of god. Or priests forgiving the sins of other people. assuming that people have the power to predict GOD’S will. We cant, i don’t believe it, no where in any religious book is anything mentioned that we can put 1 and 1 together to make an educated guess. it just doesn’t make sense. nothing mentioned in this paragraph makes sense.
and for those of you who say that we cant use religion to make this statement, then give me some scientific proof.
for those of you who aren’t compelled with the idea of God, then keep guessing and throw out some more opinions.
