Who believes that the world will end in 2012?
Well I was watching tv and it was talking about theories of the world ending, and I saw that commercial for that 2012 movie and I hear people talking about it every once in a while,so I wanted to see how many people were did or didn’t believe in the world ending in 2012. Also give me your opinions too. For me I believe it could be a new beginning like the world becoming a better place and the bad stuff on earth ending if you know what I mean.

anythings possible…although they did say that it was going to end in 1999 and in 2000 but it didn’t so idk

i don’t believe and know that i have to follow same daily routine till my life ends.
I can’t believe the world will end in a known year ever, first we don’t know when it began so we estimate it’s life, and logically if we knew when the world will end then what’s the difference in living from here to 2012?
Well I used to believe in it. Well actually it’s an on and off thing, I believe in it, then I don’t, and so on. It is said that on December 21, 2012, the world will go through a ‘change’. From that, we cannot tell whether the changing process will be disastrous, or completely fine. However, from what I have heard, the change will be good, but people believe the PROCESS during the change will be disastrous (and that’s why you hear them say things like lots of natural disasters).
However, on a news report, it said once the Mayan calender cycle has ended, a new cycle begins, which doesn’t provide enough evidence saying that something bad will happen. If there were to be a disastrous change, there would be signs of it months ahead, which will provide people with time to think of a plan.
The theory comes from the Mayans, because they believe that a big change will come around in 2012. It doesn’t actually state the end of world but a lot of ppl are going crazy over it, it’s supposed to happen on the 12th or the 21st (cant remember) of December of that year, but…meh…who can predict that, plus any activity that can and will kill the earth of that scale would take thousands of years to come about and nothing at this moment is any where near destroying the earth. even global warming will take a long time
i don’t think it will end. because its just a movie non of the movies are true (only if they are non fiction). they probably made it so people will think it will end. so i personally don’t think it will.

Yeah, you know, all my life there have been predictions of the end, but it hasn’t happened. If you look at history, it’s been going on forever. I have a calendar that ends Dec 31, 2009. Is THAT the end? I don’t think so. The Mayan calendar is the same, it just shows the end of a time period.
If the world were to end, it would be so sudden you’d never know what happened, and if the “authorities” knew about it, they’d never tell you. They think it’s more important that we don’t panic than it is for us to make our peace with our maker. So of course, make and keep peace and no matter what happens, you’ll be good.

if you believe that 2012 is gonna happen then watch the movie. it’s really boring and unnecessary and will likely make you change your mind.
