I am a big believer in psychics and pretty much all of them have said that the world will not end in 2012. I do think that there will be alot of people panicking and planning on ways to survive if something did happen though.

The same movie director made a movie called Independence Day. Will the White House be destroyed by aliens? Will some cigar-smoking nerd destroy the invasion force?

The Big 2012 Hoax is a re-run of the Planet-X hoax. Many of the “predictions” for 2012 are the same as the ones used in the Planet-X hoax; theorefore if they are “real predictions” then they must have happened on May 13, 2003.

Panic? Hilarity more like.

These predictions for 2012 are not science, they are anti-science, delusion, gibbering superstition and fraud posing as real knowledge for profit.

There is no Mayan “calendar” here. There is however a count of days that is supposed to fill up a “bak’tun” about 2012, probably in December 2012 but it could be months either side. We are not sure exactly when the count started. In other words, the last day of the bak’tun (which is 144000 days long) might have passed and we didn’t even notice.

There is no prophecy of the blasted EOTW or any stupid “spiritual change” from the Mayans. Anyone who claims that there is is a plain damn liar, ratbag or fraud. And there is no prophecy from any other culture, ancient or modern about 2012, except the fraudulent and criminal recent ones from confidence tricksters in our culture. Not even the descendants of the Mayans believe in this spurious drivel.

The prophecies for 2012 are lies based on lies. There are no alignments, no predicted solar flares, no rogue planets or any of the rest of the pseudo-scientific and fake-historical babble. This is not an opinion, these are facts.

The entire thing is delusion, superstition and lies invented by the reality challenged and used by the ethically challenged to make money from the mentally challenged and anyone who promotes it is a scum sucking bottom feeder and that particularly includes the Coast to Coast radio slime and the greed-ridden suits who run the History Channel.

In the history of mankind no doomsday prediction has ever come true…therefore I can “predict” with near certainty that this prediction will, likewise, NOT come true.

The truth is that sooner or later the super volcano at Yellowstone will erupt and will likely cause a mass extinction, but no one can predict when that will happen and thus anyone predicting the exact year of our demise is lying and doesn’t know what they are talking about…but sooner or later there will be a mass extinction…it’s just we cannot predict the time table except to say it will likely happen within the next million years.

The movie 2012 actually has no relation to any predictions that the world will end. If your a religous person such as my self you can’t believe any of the predictions. I don’t really find any of these convincing exept the Polor Shift theory. So they’re is nothing to really worry about.

There was a movie named 2012, it described the end of the end of the world. There was a movie named "Superman", it described a man in tights and cape who could fly and was really strong. Do you believe in that too? It did Caused some kind of panic. Because many people can't tell the difference between a documentary and a movie. Will 2012 Predictions Happen? If they made sense, there would be a chance of them to happen. But when you look at the "predictions", they don't make sense; the people who spread the hoax might as well have said that cats will turn into dogs and dogs will turn into cats because the Mayans said so.
