Chemtrails are a conspiracy word replacing contrails. Some people think that the government is putting additives in fuel to stave off global climate change… really dont read into it too much. please. Chemtrails really are just overglorified contrails.

Wow, I got a thumbs down for that answer… well firstly chemtrails wouldn’t be sprayed, its not practical. A) it would condense and fall to earth as a form of mist or rain… depending on conditions…
B) Its all high altitude… most of these “trails” are almost always near already formed clouds (indicating moisture) or they are at a point where the engine heat has brought the conditions to a point where it makes its own cloud.

I fly through these “chemtrails” on a regular basis… and somehow Pilots seem to be pretty healthy for all these Ill effects they are imposing on the human race.

What do you guys think of conspiracy theorist?
I’m 19 and joining the army this summer and one thing that really irritates me is that people act like the government is evil and secretive. I’ll admit the government isn’t perfect and yeah I know it keeps secrets(I’d be worried if it didnt).

But my mom and dad both are conspiracy theorist and it’s really irritating, because when they talk about Boston being an example of turning America into police state, what they are saying is that my friends(who have already joined the military) are the ones killing people. I have no problem talking to them if they provide rational proof.

As far as the police state is concerned I tried telling them that the military and police members all have families also, so I doubt they would want a “police state”. Not to mention the practical difficulties of enslaving a country where the majority of the population is armed(and some people have arms that rival military equipment.

I feel as though when one says that “Being gay is a choice”, they are secretly setting forth this conspiracy just to conceal the truth about their own doubts or curiosity. Not only this but it appears to be part of a nation-wide agenda for this shadow agency of fundamentalists to eradicate homosexuality because of a belief bestowed upon them by religious propaganda.

Given the notion of the shared chaos theory, it’s only a matter of time until some Doomsday Prepper decides they’ve waited long enough and they want the apocalypse to begin. At that point this nation will be saddled with a terrorist bomber or sniper who is motivated by a desire for an impending apocalypse which exists only in their own mind.

Given that we’ve proven that all Doomsday Preppers are absorbed by a debilitating psychological complex born of their lack of communication skills and an incapacity for any kind of emotional connection, would you agree that the FBI should immediately begin investigating individuals who are engaged in Doomsday Prepping activities, since these people are so obviously terrorists in training?

What is your opinion of the conspiracy theorists who claim the Boston bombing is a hoax?
Conspiracy theorists are already discussing the Boston bombing, analyzing photos and so on, with the express belief that it is a hoax. Take a look at this bulletin board, where all sorts of ideas are being debated. I stumbled on this site after searching for images of Jeff Bauman, the man who’s lower legs were blown off before being wheeled off in a wheelchair with the aid of the fellow in the cowboy hat.

Someone on here with a brain! Sweet! No one stops it because if it is brought up it is considered a dreaded “CONSPIRACY THEORY”, because people are stupid. Chemtrails are very real and poisoning our soil and drinking water. They also are believed to contain Cadmium, and that can’t be good for anyone.

Also important to note that the planes fly in patterns over the sky spraying this crap. They are not contrails, folks. Some might be, but not most.

How is the government able to track pets, but not illegal aliens?
I read in the WSJ that a lot of illegal aliens came here legally, but were supposed to leave after a specified period of time and then just never left. It also said the government doesn’t really ever enforce the time limit or have any way to track when people leave.

How is it that the government could have a program allowing people here for a short period, but never think of setting up a system for making sure they leave when they’re supposed to?

Also, I and several of my friends have gotten fines for not vaccinating or spay/neutering pets b/c the government forces veterinarians to track them and collect info on them. So how can the government track and enforce these rules, but not immigration laws?

If someone is here illegally, how can they live/work/go to school, etc without a SSN or valid ID. With know your customer rules at banks and everything, how do they get away with it?

Is there a Christian theological term for the belief God is actively controlling every detail of the universe?
–Not the belief that God has planned the end from the beginning,

–But the belief that God has literally a plan for *everything*, and is actively controlling *everything* in accordance with that plan.

–From choices people make, to the sins they commit, to the trajectory of every dust particle in the universe.

I’m not talking about scripture verses.

I’m not talking about a term describing God. Omnipotence, Omniscience, Omnipresence, is not what I’m looking for.

–And if you answer, “Well, of course He does! Here’s the scriptural proof!” –Long list of bullet points, it means you didn’t read the question.

I’m asking specifically if there’s a *term* in Christian theology for the belief that I’m describing.

Calvinism is based on a belief in the predestination of the Christian, but doesn’t talk alot about world events that are beyond that, nor the spercific choices that unbelievers make, or the universe at large or at length….. So that’s not what I’m looking for either.

This is a belief so widely held by so many people, that I can’t believe that a term hasn’t emerged to describe and discuss it in Christian theological discourse.

Maybe something like, “The-Great-And-Cosmic-Plan-ianism”…?

Will humans ever build a space exploration ship like the Enterprise?
Are we smart enough to try? how big would the ship have to be?, how many people would get to go on the first ship? how many would we need? what qualications would they need? would they have to clone humans while theyre out in space?
What about food production, water, weightlessness and exercise? It just insanity to stay here destroying the only planet we have, till it can no longer sustain us, so why not build some massive space ships?

this is a very complex question and needs quite a bit of answering.

Well couple of things we can deal with today is the gravity and food and water — however if you are talking about OoOO we found a planet and want to go there -then that is a different story entirely- as it would take decades to get there even assuming we could get to .9c (90% speed of light) I would imagine a HUGE hulk of a ship that has to be built in space would have to have a crew compliment of at least 1000 cause they would all have to have kids on the way there and a 1000 i think would create enough of a gene pool.
and I think the first 1000 would all be ver specialized in certain fields of science and technology – not just your average joe off the street.
but we lack some very important technology at this time to do this – efficient engines that can get a decent amount og cargo into space I think is the really big hurdle.

One of their cycles comes to an end, that’s all. Stupid people will spend money to “learn” about about nonsense predictions so so crooked people will make money by producing nonsense predictions for the market.
