That video has been shown on several different stations including History Channel. I have not heard of anyone in the gov trying to debunk this particular incident. However , it would not surprise me if they did. I suspect they think if we knew for sure about UFOs ,it would cause a panic.This despite the fact that over half of or population already believe in the visits.P.S. Dr Hawkins stated there should be approximately as many advanced civilizations as the are unadvanced civilizations in our galaxy. As for the Condon report not finding any creditable accounts, there were several which they could not explain away. I suggest reading ” The Hynek UFO Report “written by J Allen Hynek. He is a world renowned astronomer and a lead investigator for “Project Blur Book”

Well, the US government doesn’t have any particular interest in UFOs – and their only interest was only ever national security, in case UFOs where some secret military project from the soviets.

Project Bluebook was never a large scale program, usually only 6 people were involved, it was non-scientific and it was only rated “secret” not even “top secret”. The Condon Report found no evidence and no threat to national security.

Only about 5% of cases remain unsolved, but these can be put down to inaccurate reporting, the inaccuracy of human perception and fraud. Scientifically, 5% is insignificant

Since 1969, the US government has not investigated UFOs or even taken reports.

Conspiracy theories and stories of coverups are nonsensical at best. These are put forward by true believers who can’t cope with the lack of evidence and interest, who have a particular world view and won’t change it, no matter how irrational.

There is no empirical evidence that aliens have or are visiting earth. The general scientific community has no interest in this topic. All reports are at best anecdotal, there is nothing to investigate, except perhaps the psychological aspect as to why people believe.

I soundly agree with Sirius, the U.S. government has involvement here; the Holy Bible even goes as far to mention it? Where is Area 51, and what are some Ufology experts slowly agreeing with that is being furnished to the U.S. government as human origin? Well, the Bible states …” if they say that Christ is in the desert, do not go”… ” if they say that Christ is in a hidden chamber, do not believe them”… What does the Government persistently deny they have, alien beings and/or bodies of aliens being held in an “underground military installation” ; in the “desert”?
But as Sirius has pointed out, the Bible codes also make lot of mention about Ufos. I found one to be very starttling. The codes stated that a ship would be found underneath the Dead Sea shore; buried to where it is straddling the shoreline. The Bible notates this rather openly by means of representation. Chapter 10 verses 1-8 (Found in verse 5) …”And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted his hand to heaven”… Apparently, we are in the very times that the Revelations section speaks about in the Bible. But this Bible inclusion tells us, by what the Bible codes convey, that their are two distinct oppositions, the good ones, and the bad ones. The U.S. government, and the U.N. are involved with the bad ones. The “fallen Angels”, “demonstrators” against God; where the terms demons and trators came from. “demons-trators”. Thats not all, i’ve read numerous UFO abduction accounts that contained actual Biblical inclusions. I’ve been doing my own research to find the truth since 2003 on why Ufos exist, and how they fit into the panoramic picture of mysteries. One that stood out the most was “The Gulf Breeze Sightings” by Ed and Francis Walters. They incurred 14 different Ufo events and abductions. Their accounts also had Biblical inclusions, but also government involvement in their case study. I found the parallels like: the marking of the fourhead, voice of many waters, and the emulations of the four horsemen of the Bible. The government’s involvement surfaced by what was disclosed that had happened to Ed. The Ufo fired an invisible force targeting his hand that was holding a camera. The beings didn’t want him taking pictures that time around. His hand began to really hurt, and he dropped the camera. Now, since the Government sent out that field worker to document Ed’s case, ten years from that time, developed an invisible ray cannon that, you guessed it, fires a force that affects the nervous system? … Lets see, 10 yrs after documentation,…plus 10 more to announce it on a national news program after developement; …1988,1998,2008. It appears that the craft that attacked Ed Walters is the same type that the U.S. government has in moth balls some where in the installation. But didn’t realize it had such a cannon onboard till Ed gave pictures and report of it. Do you see where i’m going with this? The government reverse-engineered this cannon to build a military type and would not have found it without their case study involvement?. And this is not a good thing folks.

We’re switching to digital broadcast stations and your old radio antenna won’t work anymore…correct? You either have to upgrade or you won’t get a signal.

Stephen Hawking would tell you that life on other planets “may” exist but it is too primitive for us to pick up any of *their* radio waves.

HELLO!

What if we can’t pick up their ‘communication’ because we’re the primitive ones not broadcasting on the same frequency? What if we’re looking for their “digital signal” with our “radio wave antenna”…are we likely to find ‘em?

I don’t care to look at the video, but in general, any sighting can be covered up by virtue of having a limited audience.

The recent Stephenson, TX and Chicago O’Hare sightings are the Holy Grail of UFO’s. Many people saw both, and therefore, the government simply has to keep it’s mouth shut.

It’s probably easier to deny to the public, while conducting their own investigation, than it is to field flak from the public AND conduct an investigation. Nothing that big would be swept under a rug.

The Great Gazoo is right that anything on Youtube is suspect.

This particular video is a dramatic reenactment complete with UFO digitally added to the story, so it’s not a supposedly real video. So all we have here is a story being told, no real evidence. The Air Force says that all there was on the radar was electronic scatter, and there are certainly other confirmed accounts of pilots, astronauts and other military people erroneously reporting objects in the sky only to find out they are reflections or something else.

So while this does not prove that the 1987 event was a non-event, I don’t find this UFO story any more compelling than the average.
