There were three separate "UFO sightings" in China and, as time goes on, they get confused together, even though they happened at different places, on different dates.

One, the longest clear video shown, is a successful launch of a rocket; we can even see the stage separation at some point. Air traffic was temporarily diverted under the path of the rocket (this is a normal procedure).
The stage separation is very clear at 0:31 on this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnszlJC8iGs

The second one is the passage of a military air vehicle, low over a populated area. Air traffic was stopped for a longer time at this airport. The original video does not show much detail, but what it shows is consistent with a military operation. This one is often shown with a "photo-shopped" version.
Here is an example of an overly "zealous attempt":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-h7DaJCqx4&NR=1

The third one (first in time, but so much easier to explain that it gets a lot less attention) is a fireball (a daytime meteor) with, in the same field a view, a very high plane leaving a well lit contrail.

Sometimes the videos shown on YouTube are combined with the pictures of a failed Russian launch that caused a weird spiral shape in the sky of Norway (the trail of the rocket after it went out of control), but that was much before the three Chinese events.

The UFO was actually a mass hallucination that was accomplished by subliminal programming using techniques of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). Quite effective.

As usual in UFO cases the latest one in China offers no proof. Supposedly, the 'object' disrupted air traffic for less than one hour yet the government did not send any military planes to investigate. The 'object' was not forced to land or leave.

During the supposed one hour, only one "photograph" was taken which is enough to debunk the entire UFO claim. The "photograph" shows what is presumed to be a time exposure. In this case, the foreground objects including trees and houses are blurred due to camera movement yet the UFO is in sharp focus.

The picture was doctored. One does not need to be a photography expert to see that this UFO case is a fraud. Today with digital techniques one can make convincing images which are difficult to distinguish from a true photo. This one however was made by an amateur who made some quick money from a gullible public who desperately want to believe in UFOs. It makes for a good story in the National Enquirer tabloids that's about all.
