No one really suspects them of lying. As far as I know the 400 T-shirts sold by the high school students was the only profit made off the sighting (no book deals or move deals seem to be pending). I left a question below...which no one has answered...about this and other sightings. In January of 2008 it shows that there were at least 7 other sightings in other parts of the country/world . This one just got singled out for some reason. (Go to the link I gave for more info..) Question was.."Why did the Texas sighting get so much attention..." or something like that.
