UFO, i’m assuming you mean alien space craft, and not just something that is unidentified?
You don’t, cause they don’t exist.
Just like any other report. Honestly, accurately, and without emotional drama. Time of day, weather, elevation, movement, apparent size-especially in relation to fixed objects like mountains or trees, location, sounds, and so on. Make the sky a dome with grid markings on it, due north is 0 degrees, and estimate direction and elevation accordingly.
As to WHERE to report, start with local police and see where it takes you.
get in contact with ufologist that is better in the field an will not ridicule people in this area where as the police do not take these things serious enough and it becomes a joke which is not what anyone needs
Just because it is a UFO doesn’t mean its aliens… UFO means unidentified flying object, so if you see an object flying in the sky that you can’t identify, this is a UFO. I hate when people automatically assume you mean aliens. Good question tho, I would say report it to the police, cuz for all you know, it could be spies lol.

The best people to talk to are MUFON the Mutual UFO Network. If you submit the sighting online you will get a call back from an operator and if it is necessary, they will send out an investigator to look into it. They are a great organization on top of their game.
