Why did the news reporters only jump on the UFO sighting in Texas…?
…when this shows 7 other sightings in Jan. 2008 in other places that we didn’t even hear about?

Most UFO sightings, unless there’s evidence (which there never seems to be), are covered by local stations on a slow news day. It’s up to the local producer what sort of stories air. Perhaps it was a busy day in the other places. Perhaps the producers there didn’t want to waste precious air time on something that isn’t really news.
