Of course the world isn’t going to end in 2012! Apparently, the Mayans considered the end of their calendar to be a time of great change; and what change is gonna happen near the end of 2012? The Presidential Election! Think about it this way, surely you have a calendar somewhere in your house, right? Well, when you’re calender ends every year the world doesn’t end, does it?

@Regzk5996 2012 is the end of the 13th b’ak’tun (a 5,125 year cycle) on the Mayan calander. Thats why it ends, the calender only recorded the current b’ak’tun, the the end of the world. If the guys who carved those calenders were alive today they’d be laughing their arses off!
