Well I suppose you could spend New Year Eve in, say, eastern Tennessee, and then right after the turn of the hour drive west until you’re in the next time zone, before midnight of that time zone. That way, I guess you could have two New Year experiences in this dimension alone, and thus “New Years.”
Just a thought.
