I too have been documenting and filming when “spray on clouds” are present in Vancouver. It is mostly in the summer after 1 sunny day. It is worrisome to say the least.

Conditions may be perfect for persistent contrails at 38K ft- but at 40k feet it conditions may be drier so the trail will not persist. The atmosphere can vary from spot to spot or be uniform across large areas…atmosphere moves like fluid…lots of variability –

North eastern and north western states of USA are suspect to persistent and spreading contrails. Southern states will be contrail free. See

@jnthnbush my wife is from Allentown! cool! but I was referring to Sunday, Monday, Tuesday that called for no clouds at all. there were none in the a.m. and by noon, the sky was full of chemtrails and a hazy cloud formation that seemed completely unnatural. if they were clouds, then cool but why can we now see those fuzzy rainbows around the sun that we could never see before? what is that?

I know it was sunny forecast over the last few days, Saturday started of beautiful but it rained later in the day. The weather forecasts are not 100% correct deal with it.

If the air is saturated with respect to ice the ice crystals in a contrail CANNOT sublimate but instead persist- much like cirrus clouds..

Cold air is staturated at high altitudes by plane exhaust. The ice sublimes and the trail dissipates. You cannot look at humidity without looking at the relative humidity of the air.Humid air is warmer air that become saturated less easily, so humid air should do the opposite to making a contrail when an aircraft flies through it. Contrails cannot persist they have to dissipate. Contrails cannot produce clouds because the crystals simply evaporate. Persistent contrails cannot exist in physics.
