absolutely more humid, it does not mean that the air can become saturated enough to form ‘persistent’ contrails.When the air does become saturated and a trail happens in cold air,that trail is quickly dissipated because of the large volume of unsaturated air around it. When the air is humid at lower altitudes because it holds more absolute water vapour,a trail cannot be formed.Chemtrails exist by elimination

Cold air is staturated at high altitudes by plane exhaust. The ice sublimes and the trail dissipates. You cannot look at humidity without looking at the relative humidity of the air.Humid air is warmer air that become saturated less easily, so humid air should do the opposite to making a contrail when an aircraft flies through it. Contrails cannot persist they have to dissipate. Contrails cannot produce clouds because the crystals simply evaporate. Persistent contrails cannot exist in physics.

@Gavinwr75 – False. The ambient air CAN be saturated with respect to ice. Look up “ice saturation” or “supersaturated persistent contrail”

If the air is saturated with respect to ice the ice crystals in a contrail CANNOT sublimate but instead persist- much like cirrus clouds..

Why do cirrus clouds persist?

look up “contrail cirrus”- they have been studied for decades…
