Actually they did. The ancient Egyptians and several other civs had advanced tech. Such as electro-plating. Theres evidence between the Sumerians and the Japanese that people were visited by space men. Also evidence points to several cities in India that were wiped out by some sort of nuclear weapon (the soil glassed, flash carbonizing, and radioactivity). Babylon was a metropolis as were many great cities of the past.

Pretty impressive how those ancient people living in huts had the technology so far advanced compared to us we cant match it..
