the elite did not share their technology with the general population, not everyone was literate like they are now, only the ruling class knew math, science, etc.
Could the ancient civilizations have been like us? Like, cars, clothes, fashion, buildings? Or would it be like… They have great technology but they were pretty ancient looking people?
they are interesting because they invented everything we have, from writing, to the reason we use 60 seconds in a minute or 60 minutes in an hour… and they popped out of nowhere, right out of the stone ages, and knew about planets 5000 years before us!
